What to Expect: The WPATH GEI Online Neurodiversity Workshop, led by Dr. John Strang, is a half-day training focused on the intersection of neurodivergence (especially autism) and gender diversity. It provides practical tools to support neurodivergent, gender-diverse individuals in areas like communication, executive function, and gender affirmation. Emphasizing strengths-based approaches, the workshop addresses diagnosis, clinical supports, and multidisciplinary care. It also explores the interplay of neurodiversity, gender diversity, and race.
Live Participation: To complete the GEI Neurodiversity Workshop, attendees must:
- Attend the live session “in-person” via Zoom on Friday, April 11, 2025, 2:30pm – 4:30pm EST.
- Watch all required pre-recorded didactic sessions, videos available for viewing the week of March 15, 2025.

The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
ACCME / AMA PRA Category 1 Credits carry reciprocity with EACCME member countries and most international licensing bodies for physicians, with some exceptions. Physicians should check with their country/board for eligibility.
The UEMS-EACCME and the AMA has a signed agreement of mutual recognition of CME credits between Europe and USA for live and e-learning activities. A list of active agreements can be found here https://eaccme.uems.eu/Agreements.aspx.
